Our worm kit includes all you need to screen for the following types of worms in cats or dogs:

  • Tapeworm
  • Roundworm
  • Hookworm
  • Coccidia
  • Whipworm
  • Giardia Cyst: Under our Intestinal worm count kit we screen for Giardia. It is worth noting that this is reliant on the cyst being present within the sample provided. If your pet is showing symptoms relating to Giardia or if you would like to specifically test for Giardia as part of your routine screening then we would recommend using our Giardia Antigen lab testing or Giardia Antigen Rapid home testing kit for this. (Giardia Antigen Performance characteristics: Relative sensitivity: 95.12% / Relative specificity: 95.87%)

  • Please note:

    A Fecal egg count is a snap shot of a specific moment in time. The test detects eggs of mature parasites that live inside the body and pass their eggs to the outside by shedding them into the dogs stool’s. It is possible that at the time of testing the parasites are too young to produce eggs, if no eggs are being shed the infection cannot be detected. There is also a possibility the eggs are In such small numbers at the time of testing they would be undetectable Thus showing a negative result.

    The above is extremely rare but we would like to point out the possibilities.

Feclab Specialise in Faecal Egg Counts for Dogs, Cats, Horses, Livestock & Poultry Feclab Laboratories originated as we believed that animal faecal egg count records will be a requirement to justify the use of Anthelmintics and prevent the over use of products. We believe each wormer treatment should be justified for its known benefit to the Species being treated.
Delivery

All of our products are delivered in our own temperature-controlled van (-18°C).

Frozen goods are delivered in standard cardboard boxes. If you require an insulated box, please mention this in the “Additional Information” section at checkout and we will do our best to provide one, subject to availability.

If you will not be home on your delivery day, please specify a safe place (via “Additional Information” section at checkout) for us to leave your order - ideally somewhere shaded and undercover.

If no specific instructions are provided and no one is home, our driver will leave your order in a location they deem safe. A photo will be taken as proof of delivery.

If, for any reason, deliveries cannot be made during a particular week, we will provide advance notice.

Deliveries are made throughout the day, and we are unable to offer set time slots. However, our driver will text or call you when they are nearing your address. You are also welcome to contact us on the day for an estimated time of arrival.
